If President Trump Tweeted About Disease

Cancer is bad, really bad, but so are oncologists. That chemo is equally bad as the disease they are curing. They are both equally to blame for the disease.

  1. So you're saying the First Amendment doesn't cover speech one doesn't like: https://www.lewrockwell.com/2017/08/andrew-p-napolitano/freedom-for-speech/

I enjoy reading your site, but I strongly disagree with you on this subject.

  2. Thanks for all your comments, especially Don, for reading my foolishness even though you disagree. I've been very frustrated in an attempt to write a post about hospital bed siderails and broke a promise to myself to stay out of politics which I never had much interest in. It makes my day when non-nursing/medical folks read my foolishness and thought maybe if I ventured off topic it would help, but from now on, I think I will stick to my usual old school nursing foolishness. Politics is not my arena and it never crossed my mind in the OR.

  4. Hard to stay away from the subject when we keep hearing the same stupid crap every day. Trump can tweet all he wants, but it's not making him sound any smarter.

  5. Friends have suggested tweeting to me as a way of promoting my foolishness, but I don't think I was cut out for that sort of thing. Hospital bed side rails have been my obsession this week and they are more fun to think about than politics.
