May your Mayo Stand rise up to meet you.
May the Bovie smoke always be at your back.
May the overheads shine glare free upon your sterile field,
and until the skin margins meet again,
may God load your needle drivers with 3-0 silk.

    And... you know today will be like yesterday and the newly born will take a deep breath ,gasp and turn pink, after a little PPV, even though they were grey and floppy at the start of their young lives.
    The alternative of contininuing down the algorithm can be frightening to even the most stoic among us labor and delivery nurses.
